CASCO- Nancy Michiko Wheeler, age 60, passed away on April 30, 2018 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born in Japan on Sept. 24, 1957 and was a child of the late Charles and Mary (Salisbury) Bragdon.

For the last 15+ years, Nancy has been employed by St. Joseph’s College and was the lead custodian.

She will always be remembered for her love of family, her strong work ethic, and the enjoyment she had working in her yard.

Nancy is predeceased by a son- Nathan Collins; granddaughter Anjel Leezah Fumiko Mariah Wheeler and her siblings- Chuck Bragdon and Gwendolyn Coffin.

She is survived by her children- Barbie-Jo Martin and her husband Daniel of Limington, Gorden “Kip” Collins Jr. and his fiancé Sherri of Limerick, and Chris Collins and his wife Mandy of Limington; grandchildren- Sarena, David, Jasmine, Nathan, Bella, Ava, Liam, and Cassidy, great grandchild- Aubrey; and her St. Joseph’s College family.

A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday May 12 at 12 noon at Life Church, located on the corner of Elkins Road and New Portland Road in Gorham.
