Raymond Fuller, Thief River Falls, MN, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Silver Creek Lutheran Church, rural Thief River Falls, MN, with Rev. Ale Tulu officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Creek Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the church.

Raymond Darrell Fuller was born August 18, 1941 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Donald and Esther (Wolfgram) Fuller. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Raymond attended country school at Steiner School, rural Thief River Falls. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1959.

From October 1964 until October 1966 Raymond served in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany and worked as a helicopter mechanic.

On March 20, 1971 Raymond was united in marriage to Maryanne Larter at the Silver Creek Lutheran Church. Living on the home place, they raised two sons – Mark and Brent.

Throughout the years Raymond worked for Cenex and the Thief River Falls School District. He also farmed the land his grandfather homesteaded which became a century farm in 1996.

Raymond’s hobbies included bowling, hunting, fishing and camping at Springsteel Resort, having coffee with the guys at Biff’s, and watching sports. Raymond was a member of the Snowdrifters and the American Legion Post #117 in Thief River Falls.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Mary; sons, Mark and Brent; brothers and sisters, Herb, Shirley, Donna, Gail, and James; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brothers-in-law, Steve Holmes and Larry Inman; an infant nephew; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lewis and Madrienne Larter.
