Monty Gay Anderson Thompson 1936 ~ 2007 Monty Gay Anderson Thompson, age 70, passed away June 10, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born November 11, 1936 in Annabella, Utah to LaMont and Leola Anderson. She married Denny Thompson on March 19, 1960, later solemnized in the. Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. Monty Gay was a loving wife, mother, devoted friend, active member of the L.D.S. Church whose life was centered around her grandchildren. She had many talents including scrapbooking, painting, gardening, flower arranging, ceramics, quilting, and first and foremost, loving and taking care of her family. Monty Gay is survived by her loving husband, Denny Thompson; children, Scott and Cami Thompson, Mike and Kristin Thompson, Denise and Tracey Jones, Brent and Michelle Thompson; siblings, Judd and Joan Anderson, Bev Charlesworth and 13 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Jordan North 5th Ward Chapel, 3836 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South, and one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Under the direction of: Valley View Funeral Home.
