Elizabeth Ann Perkins, 93, died on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Betty was born on Valentine’s Day in 1925, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Alphons and Clare Eufinger. Not long afterwards, she moved with her family to Oklahoma City. She met Lee Perkins on a blind date, and they married July 26, 1947, and remained married for 66 years. Betty was a mother to four girls, and had a special place in her heart for her five grandsons and six great-grandchildren. She loved serving her family as a homemaker, and lived a very full, active life. Betty loved life, never met a stranger, and always said, 'Life is pretty much what you make of it.' Betty loved playing bridge, bowling and many church activities. After retirement, Betty and Lee enjoyed 20-plus years traveling extensively around the world. Her favorite places being Switzerland and Ireland. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee; and four siblings, Jack and Bob Eufinger, Jane Coleman and Rita McCormick. She was survived by four daughters, Carol Perkins-Dill, Joan Benson and husband Dr. Melvin Benson, Kitty Perkins, and Patty Eikelman and husband Steve; five grandsons; Dr. Melvin Benson Jr. and wife Jenny, Ricky Dill and wife Jackie, Tony Benson and wife Sarah, Brian Benson and wife Meg, and Nick Eikelman; six great-grandchildren, Rachel, Connor, Chaz, Sam, Jack, Duke; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, 19 July, at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
