BROWN, (Ret.) Lt. Col. Milton H., of Henrico, Va., departed this life July 10, 2018, at VCU Hospital surrounded by his wife, daughters, and grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin M. and Dorothy J. Brown; grandparents, Virgil and Callie Brown and Jessie and Lucy R. Jackson, all formerly of Crozet, Va. (Albemarle County). Other survivors listed. Milton was a graduate of Albemarle Training School and Virginia State University in 1954, with a degree in art. At VSU, he was a member of Nu Psi Chapter, Omega Psi Psi Fraternity, Kappa Phi Kappa Fraternity Educational Fraternity, the Trojan Marching Band, and the ROTC. He was an art teacher for several years in the Richmond Public School System.
Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where a Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at 11 a.m. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
