Jay William Wolfe, age 74 of Bean Station passed into the arms of our Lord on July 15, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jay was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Norma Day Wolfe, his parents: James Wolfe and Nila Wolfe Miller and 8 brothers and sisters.

He was a faithful member of Adriel Missionary Baptist Church and had many friends.

Jay is survived by his children: Scarlett Massengill, Jay “Andy” Wolfe (Alice) and Brian Wolfe; sister: Elizabeth Sauceman (Donnie); sister-in-law: Sally Michael (Steve); grandchildren: Calista Collins, Ashley Burress, Olivia Smith (David), Kaleb Wolfe and Brooke Collins (David); 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as a close extended family. Special friends: Wanda and Ray Seals, and Kathy Trent and her son, Tyler.

Visitation with his family will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Mayes Mortuary with funeral services to follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Tim Collins officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Mayes Mortuary to proceed to Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery, Thorn Hill, TN for 12 Noon graveside and interment services.
