Joseph Richard Douglas, Sr. was the originating owner of Douglas Air Conditioning in 1972. He worked in the HVAC industry for almost 50 years.
Mr. Douglas is survived by his son, Joseph Richard (Judi) Douglas, Jr.; sister, Ruth Yongue; brother, Roland Henderson “Little Joe” (Brenda) Douglas; grandchildren, Laura (Troy) Laabs and Judson “Jay” (Joy) Douglas; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be at graveside on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Salter Cemetery in Birmingport, AL. A time of visitation will be Friday from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home.
