A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Ella Caldwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers, Lloyd, Doc, John, Jack, Tommy and Frank Caldwell; four sisters, Mary Waldrop, Betty Cook, Cora Moody and Minnie Parton. Annie is of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed quilting, loved working with her family, reading, and taking care of her parents. She attended the Cataloochee reunion of which she was a descendant.
Annie is survived by two sisters, Ruby Bradley (Bob), and Sarah Sutton; brother, Thurman Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior at the funeral home.
