Bobby Melton Suggs, 65, of Summerville, husband of Pamela Sears Suggs, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. Suggs was born December 14, 1946 in Conway, SC, a son of the late Homer Melton Suggs and Ruth Luzee Cooper Suggs. He proudly served in the US Air Force, worked as a shipwright at Charleston Naval Shipyard, and later owned Old Village Pump and Well. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Pamela, he is survived by two daughters, Tracie Suggs of Summerville and Kelly DeWeil and her husband, David, of Columbia, one granddaughter, Caroline DeWeil of Columbia, and one sister, Donna Darby of Mt. Pleasant.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jimmy Suggs.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Cremation Center Chapel, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, 81 Gadsden Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
