Freda “Micky” Jones, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 15th, 2018 at her home in Blue Ridge. Micky was born October 29, 1926 in Eversley, England and moved to the United States in 1950. She was married to the late Clifford Jones of Miami, Florida. Micky was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge. She was an active volunteer in the community, serving as a pink lady at Fannin Regional Hospital and working with the Blue Ridge Community Theater children's summer camp program. Micky served in the RAF during World War II in England as a dispatch rider and later in the Women's Land Army. Micky will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services to be held Thursday, July 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. At Faith Presbyterian Church, Blue Ridge, Georgia. Internment following at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Mineral Bluff, Georgia.
