Alberta Aveline Honaker, 93, of South Shore, died Monday in South Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Firebrick, The daughter of the late David W. and Lula Meenach Honaker. She was preceded in death by a sister Geneva Bates.
She was a member of the South Shore First Christian Church and a retired employee of the former Williams Shoe Factory in Portsmouth, Ohio after 26 years.
Surviving are a brother, David Honaker, Jr. of South Shore; a sister, Evelyn Sauers of Huntingdon, Tenn; a niece, Debbie Davis of Huntingdon; and nephew Gene Wells of Russell.
