Wozniak, Angela Louise 1948-2008 Of Mendota Heights. Our beloved Angie (60) died late Wednesday night. A graduate of Georgetown Visitation ('66) and Hamline University ('71) she leaves a legacy of political activism as a dedicated citizen and lobbyist. She was a champion for the protection of newborn children and helped pass into law the Safe Place for Newborns Program for endangered infants. She will also be remembered for her generosity and numerous charitable gifts. Her heart and home were always open to those in need. Her kindness and willingness to give freely touched and enhanced the lives of many. Her laughter brightened our spirits and her compassion warmed our souls. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Victoria Smith; and parents, Judge Daniel Donald Wozniak and Angela Walsh Wozniak. She leaves behind her devoted children, Douglas and Faith Wozniak. Her step children, Jeremy and Abbie Smith. Her siblings, Victoria Wozniak-Morris, Daniel D. Wozniak and George Wozniak. Her brother-in-law, David Burton Morris and sisters-in-law, Mary Daly- Wozniak and Mary Ann Wozniak. Her nephews, George, Tim, Nick, Dan, Kevin, Bill Wozniak, and David Morris. Her nieces, Lauren Wozniak, Victoria Morton and husband Nathan Morton. She has been released to the company of angels in the hands of the Lord. We are truly grateful for her final peace and serenity. We will remember her strengths and gifts and hold her in our hearts until we meet again. God bless you, Angie, and welcome you home to the comfort and safety of His unconditional love.
