Services were held Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls for Mrs. Arthur Warner, 42, of rural Redwood Falls, who died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1988 at the Redwood Falls Hospital. Rev. Scott Carmichael officiated and Jennifer Preuss was organist. Pallbearers were Scott and Jim Warner, Jeff Schmidt, Wayland Zaske, Larry Breitkreutz and Tom Garvin. Interment was in the Redwood Falls Cemetery with Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls in charge.
Arlene Breitkreutz was born Dec. 31, 1945 in Flora Township, a daughter of Herbert and Elsie Mack Breitkreutz. She grew up in Flora Township and in 1963 graduated from Renville High School.
Her marriage to Arthur Warner took place Sept. 10, 1966 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Flora Township. They made their home in the Delhi area.
She worked part-time at the Developmental Achievement Center in Redwod Falls 11 years, last working in December. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and served in several offices of the Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include her husband; children, Bryan and Kristen at home; her mother of rural Renville; and a brother Marvin Breitkreutz of rural Renville. She was preceded in death by her father in 1985, and a sister.
