Services were this afternoon (Wednesday) at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls for Inez Otto, 74, of Franklin who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1992 at her home. Rev. Warren J. Henrich officiated.
Pallbearers were Darrell and David Fuhr, Dale and Lee Davis, and Chad and Paul Ness. Visitation was Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday morning at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Interment was at the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Inez D. Otto was born July 13, 1918 in Sherman Township, Redwood County to George and Matilda (Fuhr) Davis. She attended country elementary schools and graduated from Wabasso High School. She married Brainard Otto Dec. 15, 1943 at Zion Lutheran Church in Morton. They resided their entire married life in Redwood Falls. She was a bookkeeper for Ford Motor Company from 1955-1962 and then at the Redwood County Treasurer's Office from 1962 to her retirement in 1983. They then moved to Franklin. Brainard died June 13, 1987. She was a member of St. John's, Ladies Aid and the Redwood Falls VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Terry Lynne and Michael Nagel of Anoka and Toni Kay and Richard Frederickson of Granite Falls; sons and daughters-in-law Rev. Robert Otto and Ellen of St. Petersburg, Fla. and James and Christine Otto of Blaine; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Brainard and an infant sister.
