The passing of Mr Cecil Alexander Miller, age 73 years of Delisle Sask., occurred in the Outlook Union Hospital on January 4th, 1969. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday from Delisle United Church, conducted by Rev. R. McCann Park Funeral Chapel will be in charge. Surviving are his wife Grace, one daughter Mrs I. (Jean) Rutledge, Saskatoon; three sons, Glen, Delisle Sask; Wilmer and Rex, Saskatoon; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brother of Leslie Miller, Delisle Sask. Mr Miller was predeceased by his father and mother and by four brothers.
A resident of Delisle district for the past 64 years, Mr Miller was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He came west to Saskatchewan in 1904 residing in the Grandora and Laura distrcts before settling on a farm at Delisle. Mr Miller was married in July 1918 and was active in hockey. He was a member of the Delisle United Church. Interment will be made in the Laura cemetery, Laura Sask.
