Rose E. Martin Reed, 66, of Marietta passed away at 8:10 am, Sunday, June 15, 2018. She was born March 6, 1952, in Doddridge County, WV, to George E. and Maggie J. Kellar Martin.
Rose married Jim Dean Reed who preceded her in death June 18, 2009. She is survived by 2 sisters, Patricia Wheeler and Betty Wall of Marietta and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepfather Chester Daugherty, 2 brothers, Jim and John Martin and her sister, Sue LaBounty.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (July 18) at 11:00 am at Christ Kindred Church at 432 Second St., Marietta with Pastor Dick Poole officiating. Interment will follow in Lynch Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the church on Wednesday prior to the service at 10:00 am. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family.
