Mr. Walker was born in Hutton township, where he resided until twenty-four years ago, when he came to Charleston to pass the remainder of his life. He served during the greater portion of the Civil War.
Surviving are the widow and these children A. W. Walker, Chicago; C. A. Walker, Charleston; Mrs. John Trobaugh, Charleston; and S.A. Walker, Mattoon. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters, John B. Walker, Mrs. Robert J. Davis and Mrs. Mollie Nichols, all of Fairview, Ok.; Mrs. John V. Adkins, Rardin; and Adolph Walker, Grapevine, Tex.
