Obituary for Gerald "Jerry" C. Marsh
Gerald C. “Jerry” Marsh of Kingston passed away July 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Marsh, brother John Marsh, brother in law Tommy Stevens and mother and father in laws Marge and John W. Brown. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Nancy Brown Marsh, son and daughter in law Nathan and Kristi Marsh, sister Marilyn Stevens, brother and sister in law Wayne and Diane Marsh, sister in law and her husband Patti and Gordon Davis, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was retired from BWXT after 30 years. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. America. He enjoyed flying radio control airplanes, fishing, and working on classic cars. He also enjoyed many years of helping Boy Scout Troop 101 and proud of his son earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
The family will receive friends from 11am until 12 Noon Wednesday July 18, 2018 at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston the funeral will follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Jody McLoud officiating. Burial immediately following at Kingston Memorial Gardens with Military Honor by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard.
