Emma Jean (Sister) Richardson-Farrow was born on July 5, 1935 in Littleton, NC, the daughter of the late Carey and Mildred (Alston) Richardson Sr of Newport News, VA. She was the 2nd eldest of their 10 children.
She graduated from High School in 1954 and dreamed of being a registered nurse. She married Ervin Gray Farrow (Deceased) on February 25th, 1960 in New York.

She was a stay at home mom until she went to work with her sister Cunice at the car pool. She went on to become a Certified Nurse’s Aide CNA. She loved her job and was faithful on 3rd shift for 20 years at Crescent Manor in Waterbury. She lived in New Jersey and New York for many years before settling in Connecticut where she was a member/mother of Restoration Springs International Church where the shepherd is Bishop Brantley.

She spent the last 11+ years living in North Carolina where she was a member of Bethel Baptist church where the shepherd is Pastor Antonio Johnson. She loved to sew, crochet, sing, dance, helping others, her children, her family, and GOD. Emma is a natural born story teller. She is a writer and published author having written “From My Heart”.
In the last years of her life, she slowed down a bit as her mobility was limited and a string of illnesses found her in and out of hospitalized care. Her children and grandchildren have remained by her side through it all.
