Terry A. Wagner, 80, formerly of Hamburg passed away in the Topton Home where he had been a guest for the past five days.

He was the husband of Betty Lou (Fritch) Wagner who died December 3, 2017.

Terry was born in Hamburg and was the son of the late John J. and Iva J. (Gackenbach) Wagner.

He was a 1956 graduate of Hamburg High School where he was an outstanding pitcher for the Hawks.

Terry proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Des Moines.

He was a production manager for Penn Steel, Hamburg, for 35 years until his retirement.

Terry was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Shoemakersville.

He was a pitcher in the Lebanon Valley Baseball League and had a try out with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Terry was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan and a former secretary for the Keystone Social Club where he was a life member.

A son, John A., husband of JoAnn Wagner, Bel Air, MD, a daughter, Amy, wife of Jerald Ebling, Kutztown, 4 grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Wagner, and Emily and Nathan Ebling, survive Terry.

A sister Dolores Berger predeceased him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc., 40 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Hamburg.
