Mr. Franklin Eugene Watts, 77, passed Friday, July 13, 2018.
Mr. Watts was born in Rock Hill and the son of the late Lemuel Edward "LE" Watts and the late Hattie Bell Faile Watts. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and retired as a foreman with AME in Fort Mill, SC. He also worked for Turner Transfer in Rock Hill. In addition to his parents, Mr. Watts was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy H. Watts and Bonnie N. Watts.
Services for Mr. Watts will be 4 pm, Monday, July 16, 2018 at Catawba Baptist Church, 1450 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill with Reverend Ron Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm until 3:45 pm on Monday just prior to the service.
Mr. Watts is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lucille Rollins Watts; his daughter, Sandra Watts Neely and husband, Chris; his brother, Tommie Watts; his sisters, Iv Mae Addison, Lola Totherow, Patsy Dobbins, Betty Jane Miller and Mattie Haire; and his grandsons, Christopher "Seth" Neely and his wife, Brittany and Franklin "Ethan" Neely.
