Elizabeth Carol Autry "Betty" Graves Obituary
Elizabeth "Betty" Carol Autry Graves , 82, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Tippah County Nursing Home in Ripley, MS. She was born on September 29, 1935, to James William "Will" and Mary Mollie Shoffner McMullen Autry in Hickory Flat, MS. Betty had retired from Genesco and also worked as an assistant teacher for the Benton and Tippah School System. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Benton County, MS.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 16, 2018, at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Hamilton and Bro. Michael Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will continue on Monday, July 16, 2018, from 7:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.at the funeral home.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Pamela Graves Needham (Tim) of Ripley, Ms, Carol Ann Graves Hughes of Tupelo, MS; one brother: James Autry (Louise) of Forrest, MS; one sister: Ruby Childers of Ripley, MS; three grandchildren: Brad Needham (Alayna) of Ripley, MS, Sarah Needham Knight (Dillon) of Corinth, MS and Lauren Hughes of Tupelo, MS; five great-grandchildren: Braydon Lyon, Layla Baker, Peyton Needham all of Ripley, MS and Madyson Knight and Olivia Knight both of Corinth, MS; she also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Billy Joe Graves ; her parents; four sisters, and four brothers.
Pallbearers will be Tim Needham, Brad Needham, Dillon Knight, Kevin Childers, Jimmy Gresham, Arnie McMullen
