Ruth Irene Garrett, 95, of Duncannon passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Stonebridge Health and Rehab Center.
Ruth was born on March 3, 1923 in Lancaster, PA to the late Jonas Martin and Emma May (Rutt). Ruth was a homemaker most of her life but worked various jobs throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Garrett. Surviving are her two sons, Richard Sheetz (Cheryl) of Ft. Lupton, CO and Donald Sheetz (Shirley) of Carlisle, PA; her four daughters, Irene Natale (Frank) of Flemington, NJ, Barbara Zepp of Lititz, PA, MaryJane Neubold of Toccoa, GA and Carol Roman of Texas; her two brothers, Clarence Martin and David Martin both of Ephrata, PA; her 12 grandchildren; her 16 great grandchildren and her two great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruth’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
