Darlene B. Hughes , 74, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018.
She retired as the executive secretary for the CEO/President of Dominion Power, with over 36 years of service. She was an avid Harley rider and animal lover and enjoyed working out in the gym, gardening and dancing. She was a member of the Richmond Harley Owners' Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolton C. and Ruby Lane Burnett.
She is survived by her significant other, John Barker; daughters, Angela Barker and Pamela Wright (Jerry); her beloved pet dog, Eve.
