Richard Eugene Dubose, 85, husband of Mary Bryson-Dubose, died July 14, 2018.
Born in Sumter, he was the son of the late Walter Pierson Dubose and Rosa Horton Dubose.
Mr. Dubose was a former member of Monaghan Baptist Church where he led the homebound ministry for 18 years. He was a member of Paris Mountain Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Dubose Chastain (David); a son, Patrick Eugene Dubose (Lyn); grandchildren, John Robert Chastain, Laurie Elizabeth Chastain, Alicia Kathryn Dubose, and Katelyn Alexis Dubose.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, John W. Dubose; and foster parents, Jesse and Betty Lynn Rogers of Columbia.
Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
