Leona Geraldine “Jeri” (Weaver) Faubion, age 87, a lifelong resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Indian Hills – A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri.

Jeri was born the daughter of George Walter and Ethel Irene (Jackson) Weaver on January 3, 1931, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Joseph “Joe” Faubion on October 5, 1947, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Jeri and Joe celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last October, with an open house at Indian Hills. Their marriage was a match made in heaven, truly devoted and committed to each other. She worked at Lamberts Glove Factory for 14 years. In 1971, she and Joe owned and operated Faubion Fina Service Station for 25 years, before retiring in 1995. Jeri accepted the Lord as her savior in 1960. Philippians 3:13 was her saving grace. She, Joe, and their daughters were baptized that year at Calvary Baptist Church. Jeri and Joe enjoyed camping trips in their 5th wheel camper.

Jeri was a friend you could always depend on, and loved by all who knew her. She was adored by her husband and family, and a true treasure to have forever.

A special thanks to the Indian Hills staff who gave Jeri wonderful care and love. She thought so much of each one who cared for her.

Survivors include her husband, Joe, of the home; one daughter, Pat Maiorano (Larry) of Overland Park, Kansas; granddaughter, Gina Maiorano (Gus) McIntyre, grandson, Kyle Grisham; great grandchildren, Ava Grisham and Kaden Grisham.
