Lucy Earlene Duley Brown passed from this life July 12, 2018. She was born July 23, 1934 to Leonard and Ruth Duley. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Dale Brown; sister, Sybil Dunlap; and granddaughter, Christie Bettis Duke.

She is survived by two sons, Roger (Beverly) Brown and Jerry Brown; daughter, Jan (Tony) Bettis; brother, Jerry (Cecilia) Duley; sister, Shirley (Charles) Ratcliff; granddaughter, Heather Bettis, Nicole Savage and six great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau Missouri. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed painting, traveling out west to see wildlife, as well as spending time in her garden.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, July 15th, 2018 at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. A graveside services will be at 10:00 am Monday, July 16, 2018 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Shawn Wasson officiating. Her family and friends will miss her dearly, She was a special woman who was loved by all who knew her. Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
