Martha G. Pierce, age 75 of Portage, IN passed away on July 12, 2018 in Valparaiso, IN. She was born on July 1, 1943 in Mobile AL, to Avery and Minnie (Hardin) Hartgraves.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Susan (Greg) Hall; grandson, Joe (Tracy) Hall; great granddaughter, Brooklyne Hall; sister, Margaret Clay and sister-in-law, Cecelia Hartgraves; brother-in-law, Charles (Claudia)Pierce and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; brother, William Hartgraves and sister, Rosetta Hagen.
Martha was known by Granny to all. She loved her family and was a fantastic cook. She loved to go fishing and playing bingo and poker. She will be missed dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Scott Jones officiating. Burial to follow at Anglecrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
