Bonnie Jean Peters, 85, of London, KY passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in London.

She leaves behind two children, Rhonda Peters Vacco & husband Bert of Houston, TX, and Darrell W. Peters of London, KY; one sister, Wilma Campbell of London, KY; two grandchildren, Shirin Omidvar & husband Omid, and Reza Dastmalchian & wife Lauren; two great-grandchildren, Armin Omidvar and Afshim Omidvar, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, S.F.C. Ernest Christopher Peters, U.S. Army Retired; her parents, Pearl and Mornan Marie Woods Campbell; one sister, Anna C. Patton.
She was a homemaker and a member of the U.S. Army Wives Association and Gold Star Wives. She attended Dry Hill Presbyterian Church throughout her lifetime. It was the church that her grandfather helped build.

Funeral services for Bonnie Jean Peters will be conducted on Monday, July 16, 2018 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at House Rawlings Funeral Home with Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, KY. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 15, 2018 after 6:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
