He was born Dec. 13, 1959, in Marietta, the son of Keith Scott and Carmelita Janes Scott.
He was a self-employed contractor, Medic at M-M Fire Department and Harrison Township Squad, and worked at Finley Fire Equipment where he was parts manager. He was a former member of the Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department when he was younger and a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow, Carol Galanga Scott, whom he married Oct. 15, 1994; father, Keith (Dawn) Scott of Duncan Falls; sister, Carla (Randy) Ankrom of Glouster; special nephew, Chase (Kaleigh) Temple of Philo; two step-children, Denise and Ryan; special step-granddaughter, Kaci Mizer and her father, Mark Mizer; and two step-granddaughters, Chealsey and Taylur.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmelita Janes Scott.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with Evangelist Sam Bartrug officiating.
Burial will follow in Pennsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department or to the M-M Squad.
