Janice L. Marshall, 73, of Paxton died at 10:34 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at Heritage Health, Gibson City.

A memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E Pells, Paxton with Rev. John Hauck officiating.

Janice was born June 15, 1945 in Paxton to Orville W. and Viva A. Vaught Marshall.

She is survived by her brother Roger, with whom she made her home; three nieces, Keirsten Pfister of Florida, Carrie Holm of Florida and Dawn Marshall of Schaumburg; one great niece, Kayla Sliwka; five great nephews, Kurtis Sliwka, Kendall Sliwka, Maclain Pfister, Steven Bryant and Drew Bryant.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Don.

Janice was a dedicated member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, rural Rankin. She would not miss going to church. She enjoyed word-search puzzles and going out to eat. She loved meeting with the ladies of the church and going to the annual Marshall reunion at Pells Park.
