Stacy (Burkhart) Morris, age 54, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz. Mrs. Morris was a registered nurse and retired from Western State Hospital as a night shift supervisor. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and hunting for fossils. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Clarence E. "Boone" Morris of Cadiz; one son, Alexander (Leslie) Morris of Cadiz; one daughter, Kristen Amber Philippi of Clarksville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, McKenna Avery Philippi, Matthew Cole Morris, and Elizabeth Claire Morris; her mother, Brenda Haynes of Paris, Tennessee; four brothers, Michael (Laura) Burkhart of Lake George, Minnesota, Phillip J. (Andrea) Burkhart of Paris, Timothy T. (Paula) Burkhart of Murray, Kentucky, and Benjamin L. (Marcie) Burkhart of Paris; one sister, Cindy L. (Jeff) Sykes of Dover, Tennessee; her mother-in-law, Peggy Morris of Cadiz; a step son, Shane D. Morris and three step grandchildren; and a step daughter, Heather (Pasha) Roark and five step grandchildren, Brayten Trinkle, Brant Trinkle, Hayla Roark, Pasha Roark, and Preston Roark.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar Burkhart, and her step father, James Haynes.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends after 12:00 Noon on Sunday, July 8, 2018. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, with Michael Burkhart officiating. Burial will follow in McIntosh Cemetery in Trigg County.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
