Mrs. Scott (aka Ma Vivian, Ma Viv, Grammer, #18) was born at home to Hugh and Maggie Dryden. She attended Sunnyside Elementary and graduated from Rogers High School in 1948. She worked as a switchboard operator for SW Bell, as a Cashier at Walmart Store #1, clerked in the Benton County Assessor's Office, worked for the Benton County Equalization Board, and her last employment was with Col. Fred Hiett, Auctioneer, during which time she started collecting, and developed a passion for and expert knowledge of glassware, china, and American antiques.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Darrell Beck Scott, to whom she was married March 17, 1956, and a grandson, Josh Harp. She is survived by daughter Linda Haney (Randy), son Darrell Scott (Leeann), daughter Becke Strasters (Steve), grandchildren Hunter Haney (Kaylene), Madison and Carson Scott, Beck and Rex Strasters, Chris Haney, and Zachary Strasters, and granddaughter Harper Rose Haney.

Mrs. Scott was a superb cook and a lifelong Republican. Her pastimes included Sub Debs, Church of Christ, Rotary Ann, PTA (President), attending auctions (#18), collecting glassware, china, and American antiques, Rogers Historical Society, and watching Fox news.

Visitation on July 2, 2018, funeral conducted by Jackie Chesnutt on July 3, 2018, arrangements by Stockdale-Moody, Rogers, AR. Burial is in Hart Cemetery, 2126 County Road 51, Rogers, AR.
