LYDIA'S OBITUARY

Lydia Lewis Lane Gibby: born 3/17/1924, married Mike Lane 1943, married Homer Tate Gibby 12/24/1954.

Children: Harriet Micki Lane Stockton, Gordon Lane Gibby, and John Alan Gibby

Hard worker starting young, working at ALCOA, Life of Georgia Insurance Company, Fulton County Public Works, and Fort McPherson Army post. Active member of Morrow Community and Morrow First Baptist Church. A sweet but strong lady who loved hats, dolls, gardening, and singing in the choir. Spent 7 pleasant years at The Palms in Jonesboro, then last 2 golden years at The Phoenix in Tucker, where she always said "Whoopee" and was much-loved. Six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Gibby passed away on July 12, 2018.

Services will be held at Morrow First Baptist Church on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Pastor David Tew officiating. Private family burial at Morrow Cemetery. Visitation at the church prior to service from 1pm-2pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the general fund of Morrow First Baptist Church.
