He was the son of Oscar and Maye (Skidmore) Wyatt of Calico Rock, Arkansas. He grew up in Calico Rock and moved to Harrison in 1965.
Jack worked for Allied/Alltel Telephone Company for 26 years. He accepted the Lord as his savior in 2008 and became a faithful member of Crossroads Community Church in Harrison. He and his wife enjoyed camping, travel and fishing trips to Canada and Alaska.
He is survived by his three children, Jackie Marcus Wyatt, Pam (Wyatt) Peterson and Belinda (Wyatt) Fowler as well as six grandchildren. He has two surviving siblings, Fern Boone and Joe Wyatt. His wife of 57 years, Naomi, was at his side when he fell asleep and awoke in Heaven.
His graveside service will be held 10:00 am Monday, July 16 at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Harrison with Pastor Johnny Walters officiating.
