Richard Warren Austin, 31, the son of David and Gail Austin, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home in Provo, Utah.

Richard was born in Provo, Utah on September 27, 1986 to David and Gail Davis Austin. He grew up Springville, Utah and attended schools there.

For the past 15 years, Richard worked as a sign builder and installer and also previously worked for UPS.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, camping, football and basketball.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Kylie Austin of Provo, Utah; companion, Dawn Ostler of Provo and her children whom Richard raised, Melody Trane and Jay Trane; parents, David and Gail of Blackfoot, Idaho; brothers Scott David Austin of North Dakota and Brian Lee Austin of Springville, Utah; sister and brother-in-law, Sharee and Alan Page of Blackfoot.

A private family service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Hawker Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at: www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
