Alfred Hunt arrived in Western Australia aboard the "Stirling", 2 June 1831. He first married Anna nee Hunt 5 Jan 1835, Perth and 18 Feb. 1851 he marries Ann Coombs. George and Anna were parent's to George 1835; Alfred 1837; Frances 1839; Thomas 1842 and Mary Ann 1843.
Carpenter Mechanic Wheelwright inventor; 1851 installed Rottnest Lighthouse Machinery; 1875 Erected Perth's first Pipeorgan in Weslyan Church; 1880's Installed first driven printing press for West Australian newspaper.
