Vivian was a lifelong resident of St. Clair County. Vivian's love of life, family, friends and being outdoors will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie C. and Franklin Pierce Battles; brothers and sisters, Carl "Bob" (Stella V.) Battles, Ruth (Walter) Gauchas, Henry (Delaphine) Battles, Ruby Nell (Ralph) Hancock, Albert (Eula) Battles, Ollie (Tim) Kelley, Mollie (John) Green, Bill (Sylvia) Battles, Lilly Jean (Manual) Olivia and Dit (Florence) Battles. She is survived by brothers and sisters, Audrey Mae (Huey) Bowling and Earnest "Johnny" (Sandra) Battles; nephew, Norman (Carolyn) Battles; great-nephew, Heith Battles; and a wonderful host of dear friends and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Sam Boatfield, Charlie Battles, Benny Day, Todd Talbert, Don Franklin, Paul Daniel Franklin and Don Franklin Jr.
The family will be accepting friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
