Sherry "Lynnay" Burch, age 51, of Granite Falls passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Carolinas Health Care System Blue Ridge in Morganton.
She was born to the Claude Oscar and Judy Lane Eckard Hall on April 1, 1967 in Burke County.
She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was known for her crocheting, her dog – Nola, and for always saying "I love you" when she was parting from the people she loved.
Lynnay was always appreciative of others and made sure they knew that by always saying "thank you" even if the gesture was small.
She is preceded in death by one infant sister at birth, maternal grandparents; Marion Lee and Elizabeth Eckard, paternal grandparents; J.L. and Ann Lee Hall.
The visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 pm with the Rev. Don Ingle officiating. Burial will take place in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
