Joseph Elza Sorrell, 83, Spiceland, died Sunday at Hancock Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1907, in Bath County, Ky., he was the son of Walter and Mary E. Ford Sorrell.
Mr. Sorrell was a self employee plumber and electrician. He was a member of Spiceland No. 699 F&AM.
Survivors include son, Richard; and brothers, William and Lindsay. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma, in 1949.
