Donald loved spending time with his family, antiquing, traveling, gardening, and running. Whether it was attending a music concert at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, walking along the trails of Great Falls in Mclean, VA, or visiting a civil war battlefield, you could always find Donald with his loving wife, Cynthia, his daughter, Angela and their son Jeffrey. As a lobbiest on Capitol Hill, he ran daily, without fail, along the beautiful Potomac River, the White House, the Mall and the Capital. Donald loved being outside and never stopped exploring new places and new foods. He traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad. Donald loved visiting the beach, especially Hilton Head, where he would walk along the beach, fish, spend time with his family, read a good book, and indulge in oysters. No one cherished celebrating a birthday, holiday or an event like Donald. He loved the companionship of his friends and family just as much as he enjoyed the food. Donald embraced life and always lived it to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Angela; son, Jeffrey; mother, Louise; brother, James; sister, Debra Zebill; and grandchildren, Madeline, Edward, William, and Charlotte.
A visitation will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, June 15, 2018 and the Funeral Service to follow at 2:00pm at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock. Burial will be at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
