Vera worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed getting her hair done at Gracie's as well as dining at the local restaurants.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Strope of Batavia; thirteen loving nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Koenig; her sisters, Gladys (Edwin) Lancaster, Grace (Julius) Jones, Gertrude (Frank) Kryszewski, Helen Stoneman, and Dorothy (John) Korody.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
