Jessie James Moore 76, of Waterloo, died at UnityPoint Health ‑ Allen Hospital on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.

He was born April 15, 1942, in Cruger, MS, the son of William Moore and Tennie Smith.

He married Annie K. Hayes in 1969 in Waterloo. She later passed away.

He was a machinist at Hawkeye Steel and retired in 1985.

Jessie is survived by: significant other, Rosanne Anderson, Waterloo, IA; his children, Demetris (Fredrick Sr.) Prewitt, Roscoe, IL; Nicole Anderson, Douglasville, GA; Jessica (Abel) Bustamante, Wimberly, TX; Wanda Moore, Chicago, IL; Douglas Anderson, Arlington, TX; Joseph Anderson, Humboldt, IA; Cynthia Anderson, Humboldt, IA; Michelle Brown, Katy, TX; brother, John Moore of Waterloo; Stepsisters, Leola Sanders; Mary Deshears and Lucy Moore, all of Sacramento, CA; fifteen grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews

He is preceded in death by; his parents; wife; three sisters, Edith Davis, Clara Bell Adams, Willie Mae Young; three brothers, Percy Williamson, William Moore Jr. and Charlie Moore.
