He was born Sept 14, 1955 in Piqua, son of Lawrence and Barbara (Rife) Scherer Of Piqua. On May 2,1980, he married Theresa M. Braun. She survives with four children. Todd, Nina, Stephanie, and Steven, all of Sidney, all at home his parents; a sister. Mrs. Dan(Kim)Elliott and two brothers, Craig and Michael, all of Piqua. Mr. Scherer was employed at Wells Aluminum Corp in Sidney. He was a member of Piqua Eagles Logge. Services will beheld Friday at Cromes Funeral Home with the Rev. David Zink officiating.. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial may be made to the Houston Rescue Squad, burial will be at Graceland Cemetery Sidney Daily News Wednesday June 22,1994
