On Friday, July 6, 2018 Bobby Wayne Norris was called Home to be with the Lord.

The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls with Rev. Johnny Lee Mims, officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Bobby Wayne Norris was born December 27, 1938 in Paris, Texas and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is the eldest child of Isaiah Junior Norris and Della Harrell. Bobby served his country proudly by enlisting in the United States Army. Bobby was an Ammunition Specialist and a Cannon/Missile Senior Sergeant. He received the rank of Master Sergeant in the Army and served faithfully until being Honorably Discharged. Bobby and Shirley united in Holy Matrimony on July 17, 1967. They shared 50+ years of life and love together.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a host of other relatives.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are: his lovely wife Shirley Norris; four children, Micheal Norris (Misty), Sharon Ingram, Sherry Norris and Sandra Norris; siblings, Helen Bailey, Barbara Woods (Roy), Tommie Walker, Nelmer McGrew (Rosie), Floyd Young, Pauline Garland (Joseph) and Opal Bell; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
