Ginny aka Red when she was growing up, was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She transferred from Phoenix Union High School when North High School opened. She then attended University of Arizona and joined Kappa Alpha Theta. She met her husband to be, who was stationed at Davis Monthan, in Tucson. Ginny abandoned her college career to marry in May 1944. The couple had two children, Richard born 1946 then Nancy born February 1949.
Ginny was a stay at home mom who was a Cub Scout Den mother, a Girl Scout Den mother, active member of the Junior League participating as a dancer in a number of their Follies fund raisers, KAT advisor and avid cross-word puzzle fanatic
