Jennifer Thompson, 57, of Houston, TX, passed away June 16th, 2018. There will be a grave side service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 14th at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Friends are welcome. Jennifer was born and grew up in Independence. She loved music and was known for her musical abilities. She left Independence around age 21, ending up in Dallas, TX. While there, Jennifer was pleased to enter the largest and most influential diabetes study ever done (DCCT/EDIC), and was in it for over 30 years, even after moving to Houston, where she met and married Bill Thompson. She leaves behind her husband Bill, her mother Suzanne Stone, her sister Julie Evans (husband Mike), her brother Edwal Stone (wife Kathy). Her father, David Stone, preceded her in death on March 8th. Among her many affectionate qualities, Jennifer was known for her love of rainbows. May she find peace "over the rainbow" and into the loving arms of God. We love you, Jenny.
