Amy Gail Lane, 29, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was born September 19, 1988, to Gaylon and Bonnie Pranger. Amy’s happiest times were spent with her daughter, Lydia, and performing on stage at the Collins Theatre. She appeared in numerous productions at the theatre, her finest performance as Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables. She was a past member of the board of the Greene County Fine Arts Council and helped organize and direct the reading series productions for adults and children. Amy was a gifted and creative director, choreographer, and costume designer. Her proudest moment was the opportunity to appear on stage with her 6 year old daughter in the March 2018 production of “Charlotte’s Web.” Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Pranger; and maternal grandparents, Hubert and Sarah Jones.
Survivors include Amy’s daughter, Lydia Ryann Lane; father, Gaylon Pranger of Paragould; sister, Rebecca Pranger of Paragould; paternal grandparents, Don and Dee Pranger of Paragould; and several aunts and uncles.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at Linwood Cemetery.
A special celebration of life will be held at the Collins Theatre on Sunday, July 15, at 2 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited.
