CHERYL A. (WIMES) TAYLOR, 55, of Evansville, Ind., was called home into the presence of the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. Born Dec. 23, 1962, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Offie Wimes and Marilyn Daniels-Williams. Surviving are her husband, Theodore Taylor; grandmother, Katie Daniels; children, La'Shawanda (Kulon), Ta'Quanda, DeMarcus (Tenile), and Patrick Davis; siblings, Leslie Harris, Dwayne and Jason Wimes; nieces, Tierre and Alexa Wimes; nephew, Terron Wimes; seven grandchildren; special love, Nino, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Wimes. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Wings of Deliverance THC, with visitation one hour prior. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Nelson Memorial.
