James S. Rawlings, 95, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away on July 4, 2018.

A veteran, he proudly served in the US Army during WW II. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mary Anne; his daughter Dorothy Harper (her husband, Tom); granddaughters Elizabeth (her husband, Winfield Russell), and Jill; and two great-granddaughters Sarah and Sophie; his brother Daniel (his wife Sally) of Maryland.

A visitation was held on Sunday, July 8 at the Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home in North Palm Beach.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, July 9 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens, with the burial with Military Honors following the Mass at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.

The Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
